Part-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) - Mental Health Therapy

Location: Hybrid (In-Person in Ann Arbor + Teletherapy)
Client Focus: Adults and Family Therapy (Optional opportunity to work with children)

Galaxy Brain and Therapy Center is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LMSW) to join our mental health team. This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role based on your availability and interest.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Is fully licensed in the state of Michigan (LMSW)
  • Is passionate about trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming therapy
  • Is interested in working with adult clients and family therapy (with an optional pediatric caseload if desired)
  • Wants to be part of a collaborative team of social workers in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Is open to providing supervision/oversight to an LLMSW
  • Values whole-person care, diversity of experience, and professional growth
About the Role:

You'll provide individual mental health therapy in both in-person sessions in Ann Arbor and telehealth sessions, depending on client needs and your preferences. Galaxy's social work team serves some of the most diverse clients at the clinic, including:
  • Individuals navigating the emotional impact of life-changing injury or illness (such as traumatic brain injury, chronic pain, or neurological conditions)
  • Clients who seek therapy exclusively for mental health support (including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions)
  • Clients who are on a wellness, self-discovery journey and want to change unhealthy relationships with themselves and others.

Pay Range:
  • Competitive and commensurate with experience
    • $33/hour - for those newer to the field
    • $42/hour - for mid-level experience
    • $45/hour - for those with extensive experience
  • Includes paid supervision for LLMSW oversight if applicable
  • Additional opportunities for clinical collaboration and continuing education
