Position Summary

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our dynamic imaging team that is dedicated to delivering top-tier care. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will perform diagnostic exams, collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, and provide our patients with a sense of calm and assurance through quality imaging.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining every procedure step with kindness and clarity
  • Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Effectively operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records using electronic medical systems
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques
Preferred Educational Background
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a comparable field
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
Required Certifications
  • Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent recognized credential
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced clinical environment with a focus on patient-centered care
