Patient Care Tech II

Under the supervision of licensed personnel, it provides direct care to patients according to the Shannon Medical Center Standards of Care, policies and procedures. The Patient Care Tech II has both team member and patient care responsibilities that require judgment, accountability and follow-through. Within these responsibilities, accepting delegations, communicating effectively and with confidentiality, recording accurate information, demonstrating flexibility and maintaining a safe environment by completing unit related services are critical issues in this position. Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical, secretarial and related duties and responsibilities.
