Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant -
We're working with our client who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a direct hire opportunity with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform day-to-day accounting: general ledger entries, accounts payable, billing/accounts receivable, payroll accounting, banking, revenue recognition
2. Take ownership of spreadsheets, ensure accuracy and completeness of journal entries
3. Collaborate with other departments and external consultants/maintain relationships
4. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and automation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Active CPA
• Public and corporate experience (2 years in each)
• Technical accounting skills - ability to prepare and interpret accounting memos and technical documentation
• Process improvement experience
• ERP software

Details:

• Location: Chicago, IL (remote)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1 st shift
