Join our Team at Physicians Care
Position Overview:
We are searching for compassionate and dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide outstanding patient care. In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing, treating, and educating patients of all ages with various acute and chronic medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Delivering exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues.
- Offering friendly, accessible patient care.
- Taking charge during emergencies while reassuring and guiding patients.
- Performing medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups for patients across primary care and urgent care settings.
- Conducting medical procedures such as minor surgeries, injections, and various assessments.
- Establishing appropriate care levels for patients.
- Overseeing on-site laboratory functions and compliance with medical policies.
- Participating in staff education and program development.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Providing expert support and guidance to other medical staff.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (preferred).
- An active APRN or PA state license.
- Current board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).
- A current DEA license or eligibility to obtain upon hire.
- A current DOT certification or a willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Current BLS certification.
Schedule:
Our full-time employees work a rotating 30-40 hour per week schedule with 12-hour shifts during weekdays and every other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members will be scheduled as needed.
