SUMMARY:
As a Clinical Supervisor, you play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care in the Long Term Care unit. Your exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively lead and support nursing staff will make you an invaluable part of our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unit Management: Manage and oversee nursing staff schedules, serving as a clinical resource for staff problem-solving and assessments. Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure the smooth and efficient admission of residents.
Supervision: Monitor dining areas to interact positively with residents, families, and staff, ensuring a safe and pleasant dining environment while completing necessary documentation.
Patient Care: Facilitate emergency medical assessments and care for residents, coordinating interventions, transportation, and other resources as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience required.
Registered in NYS as a registered nurse professional.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
One to three years of nursing experience; Long Term Care or PAC experience preferred.
One year of supervisory experience preferred.
EDUCATION:
LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA), RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
