Pacific Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing assistants who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.
In this role, you will:
- Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
- Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
- Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
- Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Saturdays are 9 am-2 pm, need to be available to work rotating weekends.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
- Compensation: $$24-28 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500-$2,000 based on experience and licensure

- 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
