Title: Field Technician

Pay: $18-$22/hr.

Position Mission: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Field Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. As an IT Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operations of our retail restaurant locations, ensuring the seamless functioning of our POS registers, kitchen video systems, customer interaction devices, and other IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot the operations of our restaurant locations, including the installation, support, and servicing of POS registers and kitchen video systems.
  • Provide technical support and collaborate with Acerlec, Delphi, and Spectrologic help desks to ensure the proper functioning of customer interaction devices.
  • Install and maintain CAT5E ~ CAT6 wiring to POS and camera locations, and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Handle legacy camera locations connected by Coax.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain phones (POTS lines and VOIP) in our restaurant locations.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to execute larger projects, including installing racks, low voltage wiring runs, and termination of ends and patch panels.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous experience in desktop and POS support in a restaurant or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining low voltage cable, including testing and troubleshooting network communication issues.
  • Experience with installing and supporting POS systems and their peripheral subsystems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving history.
  • Ability to work at tall heights and lift 50+ pounds.
  • Possession of basic low voltage hand tools, including pliers, snips, punch-down tools, and construction boots.

Physical Demands:

May include excessive walking, standing and moderate to occasional heavy lifting and use of ladders. Travel is required around the Colorado market. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodation.
