Performs complex maintenance and preventive maintenance duties in support of operations.
Responsibilities-- Perform Preventative Maintenance, and extensive equipment repairs on INDUSTRIAL Machinery such as Large Hydraulic Presses, Induction heaters & conveyors independently as prescribed by written and verbal instructions.
- Supports advanced mechanic, electricians and other maintenance staff in performing equipment repairs.
- Provides guidance to Maintenance 1 and 2 employees.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment failures, recommends solutions and conducts repairs.
- Documents maintenance activities as required and records time management in data base.
- Adheres to established policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations & notifies management of equipment malfunctions and/or personal injuries.
- Maintains work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe manner to include returning tools to designated areas.
- Other general duties as directed.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial manufacturing setting
- Proficient with electrical/control circuits from 480V AC to 24V DC
- Knowledge with PLC controls & logic
- Ability to read drawings, schematics and work instructions.
- Advanced Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic control circuits.
- Related Technical or engineering degree preferred.
- Provides basic tools
- Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
