Loan Processor - CrossCountry MortgageSan Diego, CA (On Site Preferred)
We are looking for a highly experienced, detail driven, and motivated Mortgage Loan Processor to join our top producing team at CrossCountry Mortgage. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced pipeline, communicates proactively, solves problems early, and is passionate about delivering a five star borrower experience.
You will be the operational engine behind our closings. You will coordinate with every party in the transaction, keep files clean and accurate, and move loans forward with urgency. If you love owning your pipeline, staying organized, and consistently delivering excellence, this is the right home for you.
What You Will DoOwn loan files from submission through funding with precision and urgency
Review, request, and process borrower documentation and loan conditions
Ensure all files meet company, agency, and investor guidelines
Communicate proactively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, escrow and title teams, and real estate agents
Maintain complete and accurate notes in Encompass and CRM systems such as Jungo or Salesforce
Keep the pipeline organized and moving by following up early and often
Identify potential issues and escalate appropriately to ensure smooth closings
What You BringA minimum of 4 years of current mortgage loan processing experience and actively processing today
Recent experience in retail mortgage processing
Strong proficiency in Encompass
Excellent understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, and investor guidelines
Experience managing high volume purchase pipelines
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
A solutions first mindset with the ability to problem solve and prioritize
Compensation$60,000 to $95,000
Exact compensation depends on experience and pipeline capacity
