We are hiring for a reputable, physician-led ophthalmology group in Northern Nevada is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join their growing practice.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Target Compensation: $250,000 $275,000 annually
  • Bonus Structure: Net patient collections + Individual productivity bonus
  • Employment Type: 1099 Contractor
  • Vacation/PTO: 25 days
  • Relocation Assistance: Yes
  • Retirement Plan: No 401(k) contribution at this time

Practice Setting:

  • Ownership: Private Equity backed, multi-specialty ophthalmology group
  • EMR: ModMed (Practice Management: NextGen)
  • ASC Onsite: Yes
  • Support Staff: Technician + Scribe (scales with volume)
  • Current Staff: 4 MDs, 1 OD
  • OD Patient Volume Expectation: patients/day
  • Practice Volume: VPD

Qualifications:

  • OD Degree (Doctor of Optometry)
  • Residency training required (preferably in ocular disease) if a new graduate
  • Interest in medical optometry and working in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Desire to work closely with ophthalmologists and be actively involved in co-management
