Job Description
Travel Nurse - Level 1 Trauma Experience

Location

Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are encouraged to apply.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts available are 10 or 12 hours, with a mix of days, evenings, and nights. Both call and weekend shifts are required, with a maximum of 2 call and 2 weekend shifts in a 6-week period.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Level 1 Trauma settings. The candidate will provide high-quality nursing care in various specialties including General, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, Trauma, Robotics, and Transplant.

Responsibilities

The Travel Nurse will be responsible for delivering patient care, collaborating with medical staff, and ensuring compliance with health regulations and protocols. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting patient assessments and developing care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care as necessary
  • Educating patients and their families on health management
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of Level 1 Trauma experience within the last 3 years
  • At least 1 year of travel nursing experience in the last 3 years
  • Current nursing license
  • Flu and COVID vaccinations required, with acceptance of medical/religious declinations
