Tech System Administrator - Application Deployer

Role/Tasks Description
• You'll be using UBS custom tailored application deployment framework (EUPS) to deliver Application Releases

which are usually packaged as AppV, Numecent or MSI packages.
• Your team will deliver new or updated releases by targeting over 100'000 Users and some 20'000 Physical Machines.

Tperson usual total number of release upgrades annually is over one million (Users or Machines times Releases).
• You'll be working in a small team (up to two individuals in US). Tpersonre are also team members in Switzerland and India.
• Deploy UBS Packaged Applications world-wide by following predefined Operating Procedures
• Run Quality Checks of tperson Application Inventory by running various checks and reports
• Troubleshoot Application Deployment Issues (work on Support Queue)
• Be present during Swiss or UK Working hours

- Required know-how and seniority
• Experience with Package/Application Deployment in large scales
• Good understanding and feeling for Time Zones
• Good understanding of geographical locations
• Excited to learn about new tools and technologies as Deployment is actioned by using UBS in-house tools

which are also constantly improved.
• Experience and understanding of Application Dependencies
• Understanding of SQL Databases and SQL Database Triggers is an advantage.
• Good understanding of MSI and AppV software installation/assignment technologies
• Profound feeling for gravity of large-scale operations
• Sense for Detail and Quality
• Good communication skills
• Capable to speak-up when needed
