Sr Client Service Executive

The Sr. Client Service Executive is responsible for managing a strategic national Client. This position works closely with the client team leader and client team, the client, and Business Development Managers across the country, as well as other support departments and personnel to ensure that all Client standards are met.

Responsibilities:

* Increase sales through efficient management of promotional spending within Client guidelines.

* Ensure all base authorization, new distribution, retail pricing, shelving, and promotional guidelines are met within the assigned markets or customers.

* Demonstrate sales accomplishments and areas of opportunity by coordinating in sales presentations for key Customers and Clients.

* Sell business-building ideas to customers through the use of syndicated data, (i.e. Nielsen, IRI data, Spectra, and forms of demographic data).

* Develop comprehensive strategies and solutions for key client accounts.

* Achieve incremental growth by pursuing volume-producing merchandising at assigned customer accounts.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

* 5+ years of experience in Sales, Sales Management, HQ Account Management within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry

* Experience in the strategic planning of marketing campaigns

* Ideal candidates for this role have prior experience as a successful Business Development Manager, HQ Account Manager, Key Account Manager or Retail Operations

* Highly analytical with a keen understanding of Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI)

* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and client relations skills

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop effective client and retailer relations to facilitate communication and execution with internal departments to ensure that deliverables are successfully achieved.
  • Identify development potential in accounts by studying clients' current business and connecting with past clients to evaluate additional needs; analyze opportunities.
  • Manage or support the sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential, and developing proposals.
  • Lead client programs from conception through completion by managing deadlines, coordinating details, reviewing final documents, and controlling costs and expenditures.
  • Anticipate potential issues based on experience and proactively create solutions that are equitable for both clients and Advantage.
  • Ensure that best practices are followed by mentoring and advising lower-level professionals.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: Bachelor's degree

Experience Requirements: Typically requires 5-8 years of CPG industry, sales and marketing agency, customer, or client experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Creative thinker and self-starter who can effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Possess project management and presentation skills.
  • Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment.

Environmental & Physical Requirements

Office / Sedentary Requirements:Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically, requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs.
