American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN with a NC or compact state license and required AHA certifications for a night shift contract.
Job Details
• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting,
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00pm-7:00am) on weekdays with every other weekend and holiday coverage required,
• Option to flex to 4x12 hour shifts if needed or available,
• Travelers may float throughout the hospital as needed,
• Uses Meditech EMR (experience preferred but not required),
• Local candidates are accepted,
Job Requirements
• Active NC or compact state RN license in hand or with pending status and ETA,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association,
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an Emergency Department required; 3 years preferred,
• Previous travel RN experience required,
• References required for consideration,
• Background information must be disclosed upon application,
Additional Information
• CPI/CIC certification is preferred; travelers can obtain CPI on assignment if staying longer than 3 months,
• Holiday and every other weekend coverage is required,
• Dress code and lab work completion will be communicated prior to start,
• Candidates who are current or past employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers,
• Travelers are required to complete lab work within 72 hours of signing the contract,
