We are currently seeking a talented Commercial Real Estate Analyst to support our esteemed client, a multi-billion dollar financial services institution. This role primarily involves managing origination and portfolio management functions for the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Warehouse business, with a focus on screening, underwriting, and executing commercial real estate loan pledges, along with facilitating closings and managing assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the collateral loan pledge process from origination to closure, ensuring seamless transaction execution and thorough underwriting.
- Oversee the underwriting process for complex CRE debt transactions, including bridge and transitional loans.
- Perform detailed credit risk assessments, evaluate counterparties' creditworthiness, and analyze intricate financial structures.
- Prepare and present comprehensive investment memoranda to senior management and credit committees, clearly communicating key risks and mitigation strategies.
- Assist in asset management and mark-to-market processes for a portfolio of warehouse facilities.
- Engage in ongoing portfolio management, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and conducting thorough reviews of counterparties for warehouse facilities and collateral loan positions.
- Lead negotiations, analyze the credit risk approval process, and prepare documentation for loan modifications and facility restructurings.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and ensuring timely response to their requests.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal counsel, operations teams, credit risk experts, and potential third-party investors and lending partners to manage transactions and ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; an MBA or Master's in Real Estate Finance is preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in commercial real estate lending, private credit, investment banking, or a related specialty finance area; direct experience with CRE Warehouse is a plus.
- Proven ability to develop and analyze complex financial models and generate investment materials for lending transactions.
- Thorough understanding of CRE deal structuring, financing, and capital markets.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

The annual full-time base salary for this position ranges from $110,000.00 to $115,000.00. Specific compensation will consider candidates' relevant education, experience, training, and skills. Additionally, some roles may be eligible for discretionary bonuses based on company policy. SitusAMC provides paid time off, holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401K plan.
