Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician Job ID: 78676 Location: Tahlequah, Oklahoma Overview: Surgical Technologists are allied health professionals who are an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to patients. Surgical technologists work under the supervision and delegatory authority of a surgeon to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures ensuring that the operating room environment is safe that equipment functions properly and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Surgical technologists are experts in the theory and application of the principles of asepsis and sterile technique to combine the knowledge of human anatomy surgical procedures and implementation and tools and technologies to facilitate a physicians performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. What you will be doing:
  • Assess patients' clinical conditions recognizing identifying and interpreting serious situations prioritizing and immediately deciding upon and taking proper action
  • Shift: 0630-1500nNo floatingn
  • Acuity level of patients: Adults and Pedsnacutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems diseases and emergent situationsn
What you must have:
  • Must be certified for at least 1 year
  • AHA BLS
  • Min 2 years exp req
  • Preferred: C-sections OBGYN General Ortho Podiatry
  • OMS/Dental 3 years of exp
