Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Part-Time Receptionist (16 hours a week) on behalf of a well-established healthcare practice. This temporary, onsite role is ideal for a warm, personable, and reliable professional who enjoys supporting patients and ensuring a smooth front-desk experience. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone seeking a stable part-time schedule while contributing to a small, collaborative, and patient-centered team.

About the Role:

The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, supporting check-in, check-out, phone coverage, and daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is friendly, attentive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with sensitive medical information while providing excellent service.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients, visitors, and vendors and ensure a welcoming front-desk experience
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
• Answer incoming calls and route messages appropriately
• Monitor and respond to emails; forward messages as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive medical information in accordance with HIPAA
• Support general front-office operations to maintain a smooth daily workflow

Qualifications:

• Personable, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients
• Strong communication skills; able to answer phones and emails efficiently
• Comfortable using computers; training provided on all office systems
• Demonstrates discretion, sound judgment, and reliability
• Presentable and professional appearance (business casual; jeans acceptable)

Schedule & Environment:

• Part-time: 16 hours per week (office operates 2 days per week)
• Onsite only - all equipment provided
• Small, positive, and collaborative team environment
• Must be comfortable working around sensitive medical information

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $24-$25/hr (based on experience)
• Temporary assignment with minimum 4-week commitment
