We are seeking an experienced Oracle Technical Specialist to support a major modernization effort for an enterprise-level Oracle-based system, referred to as The Solution. This system processes critical operational functions, runs 24x7x365, and includes multiple interconnected subsystems that are now outdated and require a full re-platforming.

The project involves upgrading the Identity management layer (OID), Middleware (Oracle Application Server/WebLogic), and UI/runtime components (Oracle Forms), as well as updating the operating environment.

Project Overview

The Solution was originally implemented in 2011 and consists of complex Oracle-based components. The current modernization effort requires upgrading several subsystems to newer, supported versions. Below is an overview of the current and target versions:

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have strong hands-on expertise in the following:

  • Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, and 19c
  • Oracle Middleware (OAS, OID) versions 10g and 12c
  • Oracle WebLogic (v11/12) installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports upgrades from 10g to 12c
  • Linux administration (including shell scripting)
  • Experience with Oracle Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions
