A thriving outpatient primary care clinic in Rio Grande, NJ is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician to provide ongoing locum or locum-to-perm coverage. Position Highlights

  • Location: Rio Grande, NJ

  • Pay Rate: $160/hr

  • Start: January/February - ongoing dates in 2026

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM

  • Setting: Outpatient Primary Care

  • No call, no inpatient duties, no ED backup

  • Malpractice: Comprehensive coverage included

  • Travel: Complimentary mileage reimbursement

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Adult outpatient primary care

  • Chronic condition management

  • EKG interpretation

  • Disability exams (Occupational Medicine)

  • No procedures beyond standard primary care

  • EMR: Cerner

Candidate Requirements

Required:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

  • BLS certification

  • Experience with adult outpatient care

  • Proficiency in EKG interpretation

  • Active New Jersey license (or willingness to obtain before start)

Preferred:

  • Experience in occupational medicine (disability exams)

  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR

  • Primary care/outpatient clinic experience
