Tygart Technology is seeking a Senior Security Engineer with a current secret security clearance. This is a remote opportunity supporting a DOJ customer based in Clarksburg, WV.

Responsibilities include but limited to:

  • Perform security audits, risk analyses, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct research to identify emerging threats and new attack vectors.
  • Provide mainframe security support, including scanning and other operational security responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Active Tier 3 Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of 5 years performing security audits, risk analysis, application-level vulnerability testing, and security code reviews.
  • A minimum of 5 years developing and implementing technical solutions to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience working with Kafka infrastructure.
  • Experience with container security in AWS.
  • Experience building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of federal security requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
