Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations to establish diagnostic impressions and apply SBIRT protocols effectively. • Keep accurate records and reports to monitor clients' progress, services provided, and relevant information. • Deliver counseling services to help clients overcome challenges, adapt to life changes, and promote positive transformations while referring them to suitable community or social service programs. • Assist clients in accessing treatment by organizing psychiatric assessments, coordinating medical stabilization, facilitating health insurance applications, securing treatment funding, and collaborating with support systems as needed. • Evaluate clients' mental and physical well-being in conjunction with other professionals to determine the appropriate level of care. • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress towards measurable treatment goals through follow-up sessions and assessments. • Advocate for clients during crisis situations and intervene promptly to address urgent matters. • Collaborate with mental health professionals, legal entities, probation officers, and post-treatment organizations to ensure seamless care transitions. • Collaborate with other professionals to assess clients' needs and create personalized treatment plans. • Educate clients and community members on addiction-related subjects and available services, offering referrals when necessary. • Provide support and guidance to family members and concerned individuals to help them understand and assist those struggling with substance abuse. Qualifications: • Candidates must have a Certified Supervised Counselor-Alcohol and Drug (CSC-AD) certification or a Certified Associate Counselor-Alcohol and Drug (CAC-AD) certification. or an Addiction Trainee (ADT) certification. • Essential qualifications include having a deep understanding of the recovery process and being able to support recovery using established standardized ASAM processes. • Knowledge of substance abuse and dual diagnosis is mandatory for this position. • Responsibilities include providing clinical and administrative services to patients and their families. Compensation: $26 - $35 hourly
