Sterile Processing Technician Job Details Location: Allentown, PA (18104) - Pennsylvania healthcare jobs Healthcare Setting: Hospital Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (overnight shift) Schedule: 5 shifts per week (8-hour shifts), 40 hours/week Contract Duration: 8-week local contract (W2 employment) Start Date: December 22, 2025 Rotation: Every other holiday and every other weekend required Hourly Pay Rate: $46.50/hr Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1130-$1210/week Sterile Processing Technician Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician in a hospital or clinical setting Experience with overnight shifts and rotating holiday/weekend schedules Strong attention to detail and dedication to patient safety and infection control Comprehensive knowledge of sterilization techniques and clinical infection control standards Applicants requesting off all 3 major holidays will not be considered Sterile Processing Technician Responsibilities Decontaminate, clean, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to hospital and healthcare standards Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes, inventory, and equipment tracking Collaborate with surgical and nursing staff to ensure timely and efficient availability of sterile supplies Inspect and test instruments for cleanliness, safety, and proper function Adhere to hospital policies and procedures for infection prevention and control in a clinical environment Ready to take the next step in your healthcare career?
