Retail Sales Associate

This position plays a crucial role in the success of our retail operations. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will engage with customers to understand their needs, answer inquiries about Sherwin-Williams products, and suggest the best solutions. You will also be responsible for swiftly addressing customer concerns to ensure their satisfaction, staying informed about product features, and upholding the visual and quality standards of the store. Your efforts will directly contribute to exceptional customer service and the achievement of the store's sales targets.

This role requires contact with customers, including minors, and involves access to cash and store merchandise, which may be supervised or unsupervised. Therefore, a review of criminal history is necessary to protect our operations and ensure the safety of our customers and staff.

The selected candidate will be expected to work at Store #3424, located at 664 S. Weber Road Romeoville, IL 60446. This store is part of a group of stores, and you may be required to cover hours at the Plainfield South Store, Plainfield North Store, or Joliet Store. This position is part-time with a starting pay of $16.40.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be willing to work all scheduled hours including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Familiarity with selling paint and related products.
• Experience with tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to communicate in more than one language.
