Join CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) as a MEP Program Manager We are looking for a skilled and innovative professional to coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring they work seamlessly throughout the construction process.
Position Overview: As the MEP Program Manager, you will oversee the integration and coordination of MEP systems across multiple new construction projects in North America. You will work closely with various stakeholders, facilitating collaboration and ensuring timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth MEP systems integration for approximately 200 new construction sites annually.
- Manage MEP-related workstreams within the EBMS Delivery process, focusing on due diligence and implementation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Design & Construction (D&C) teams to align efforts.
- Monitor and report on New Construction KPIs tied to MEP systems and EBMS integration.
- Identify and resolve MEP-related roadblocks, effectively managing escalations as necessary.
- Respond to RFIs and inquiries from Construction Managers, Operations Technology IT, General Contractors, and MEP subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable DCIs for all MEP systems implemented across sites.
- Support EBMS Construction Program Manager in aligning MEP systems with broader project goals.
- Oversee MEP aspects of retrofit programs focused on modernization and sustainability.
- Facilitate proper setup of ECM-1, ECM-2, and ECM-3 for new site launches.
- Contribute to sustainability initiatives, such as Microgrid and Solar projects.
- Guarantee on-time, on-budget delivery of integrated MEP systems for all new construction launches.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited university.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience as an MEP Coordinator in a General Contractor or Mechanical Engineering Firm.
- Strong proficiency in project management software.
- Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with construction specifications, particularly Div 00, 21, 23, 25, 26.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience as an MEP Coordinator.
- 5+ years in Building Management Systems (BMS) or PLC environments.
- PMP or Six Sigma Certification.
- Track record of managing projects across varying time zones.
- Experience with remote team management and collaboration.
- Possession of a valid passport for potential travel within the USA and Canada (up to 25% of the time).
