Board Certified - Neurological Surgery
Job Details:
• Call coverage position from December 19 through December 24, 2025, with potential for additional dates in January • Coverage for head (crani) and spine, with spine coverage already in place from 12/19 through 12/21 (head/crani only during this period) • 7am-7pm weekdays, 24-hour coverage weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) • All call is based at Tacoma General Hospital • Must have clean background for expedited temporary privileges • WA license or IMLC required • BLS certification required • Experience preferred in various neurosurgical skills including: • General neurosurgery (adult, pediatric, neonate, trauma) • Cerebrovascular procedures (open, endovascular) • Carotid or vertebral artery surgery • Aneurysm clipping • Tumor management including neuroendocrine surgery • Stereotactic radiosurgery, functional procedures, and seizure management • VP shunt placement • Skull base surgery • Spinal surgery with and without instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) • Peripheral nerve surgery and pain procedures • Endovascular procedures • Placement of ICP monitors • Application of external traction • Ventilator management • Central line placement
