Summary of Position

Work Location:16700 Valley View Ave, Suite 162 La Mirada, CA 90638

This position is responsible to Purchase supplies and equipment, in accordance with established policies and procedures, with contracted vendors. Expedite orders, follow up on back orders, process returns, ships out products, manages excess inventory, works with vendors, Accounts Payable and clinic staff.

What Youll Do:
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
  • Familiar with workflows of a healthcare environment.
  • Able to navigate and work with a procurement system specifically creating and transmitting POs, running open order reports, back-order reports, etc.
  • Able to navigate and complete orders on vendor websites, i.e., FedEx, UPS,
  • Create simple Excel spreadsheets comparing vendor pricing or other key indicators
  • Works with Accounts Payable for invoice resolution
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Compiles reports for departmental, financial, and administrative review
  • Research vendors and collects relevant information related to purchasing goods and services.
  • Research, analyze, and forecast current and future buying trends for products related to operational efficiency.
  • Helps to oversee and maintain current inventory. Other duties as necessary

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Efficient typing skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and legal aspects of purchasing.
  • Ability to compile information and make decisions.Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education & Experience
  • At least two years of retail experience required.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, or related field preferred
