Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and possess a strong commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with established standards
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Assist in medical procedures such as spinal taps and critical care interventions
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience in diverse healthcare settings such as Level I Trauma Centers, clinics, assisted living facilities, and behavioral health units
- Proficiency in providing care across various specialties including occupational health, toddler care, and geriatric nursing
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
