We are partnering with a higher education organization seeking an HR Operations Coordinator. The HR Operations Coordinator will be responsible for tracking hiring activities, and will be working heavily in Excel. The ideal candidate has worked with large data sets and has experience with pivot tables, LOOKUPS, formulas, and data reconciliation in Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve, download, and organize completed documents from DocuSign for personnel files and compliance tracking.

  • Assist in coordinating hiring transactions, including collecting, verifying, and organizing required documentation.

  • Generate and analyze data sets related to personnel counts, appointment trends, and HR metrics.

  • Maintain and enhance Excel spreadsheets to track key HR data points.

  • Accurately enter and manage data in internal forms and electronic systems.

  • Review and edit Adobe PDF documents to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Audit timesheets and support payroll operations for hourly employees.

  • Assist with processing additional compensation requests in coordination with the HR team.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries.

  • Reviews existing human resources information/data on the website, including hiring guidelines, timesheets, and hire request forms. Update documents, as needed.

  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree

  • 2+ yrs related experience in HR, Finance, or a related field

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel including experience with formulas, pivot tables, data reconciliation, and spreadsheet automation
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in higher education or complex organizational setting

  • Familiarity with DocuSign.


Compensation: $28-31/hr
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
