Employment Type:Temporary to Hire Pay Rate: $24 - $30 per hour Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills are a must.
  • Follow-up skills and a sense of urgency are required for effective subcontractor management.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and work effectively in a team-oriented, open-office environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of industry software like Pantera and PlanSwift is a plus.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

The Estimating Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Estimating/Pre-Construction Department. Your day-to-day will be dynamic, focused heavily on communication and organization:

  • Subcontractor Communication: Handle heavy calling and follow-up with subcontractors to send Invitations to Bid (ITB), identify interested bidders, confirm bid receipt, and track bid status.
  • Documentation & Data Management: Process and maintain crucial documentation, including managing plan revisions, verifying drawing logs, setting up bid binders, and gathering/storing subcontractor information.
  • Database & Tracking: Log bids accurately in the Access database and set up detailed tracking sheets based on scope and subcontractor recommendations.
  • Correspondence: Prepare and send departmental correspondence, including Award and Loss letters.
  • General Administration: Perform various administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, data-entry, ordering supplies, and ensuring the department remains neat and organized.
