The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Allendale region seeking Process Engineers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, production bottlenecks, and deviations.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes or process improvements.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, PFDs, and technical specifications.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, root causes of problems, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC) and root cause analysis.
- Experience with process simulation software, CAD, and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve complex process issues to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Arena)
- Experience with PLC/DCS systems or industrial automation
- Advanced data visualization or programming skills (e.g., Power BI, Python for data analysis)
