Description:
The Senior Appian Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical client-facing applications using the Appian platform. As part of a cross-functional Agile team, this role involves full-cycle application development, including requirements gathering, build, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Appian development, integration, and best practices for low-maintenance, high-performance applications.

Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance applications using the Appian platform within an Agile team.
Provide maintenance and support for existing Appian-based systems.
Implement best coding practices to ensure efficient and scalable applications.
Design and develop integrations with in-house and third-party platforms.
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring reliability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
7+ years of overall software development experience.
5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Appian.
5+ years of experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JSON, and JavaScript.
Strong SQL development skills, including experience with SQL Server or other RDBMS.
Expertise in business analysis, model-driven architecture, and model-driven development.
Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Azure DevOps (AZ Do) or similar platforms.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within a team.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Appian certification is required.

Desired Skills:
Experience integrating Appian with external systems and APIs.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud-based environments and security best practices.

Compensation:
Pay range: $62.72-$89.60 per hour
