Job Description
Job Title: MRI Tech

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in MRI preferred
License: NYS Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine License with injection certification required
Certifications: BLS, ARRT

Must-Have:
- EPIC charting system experience is required
- Candidates must float between assigned areas

Description:
Specialty: MRI Tech
Shift: 5x8, Friday to Monday, graveyard hours from 21:00 to 07:00
On call is not required.
Holidays are required if scheduled to work.
All positions require a NYS Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine License with injection certification.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI is preferred.
Candidates must not be local, i.e., within a 75-mile radius.
Facility is a tertiary care hospital with a total of 528 staffed beds.
Staff can wear any combination of navy and white scrubs.
Daily patient census includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
Candidates will be floating between different areas.
Additional unit information and special procedures will be communicated during orientation.
All candidates will be required to complete modules prior to starting the position.
