Job Overview: As a Part-Time Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service in a safe and clean environment, ensuring our customers feel welcome and appreciated. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Administer immunizations in line with company policies and established procedures.
  • Dispense medications per prescriptions, adhering to laws and ethical standards.
  • Compound medications accurately, following standard formulas and processes.
  • Review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and evaluate potential interactions.
  • Verify and support the work of Pharmacy Technicians and Interns to ensure correctness in prescriptions.
  • Engage in promotional initiatives according to strategies set by the Pharmacy Manager.
  • Maintain quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and hazardous waste disposal.
  • Report and address any incidents of theft, robbery, or fraud effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, including HIPAA and FDA regulations.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration among pharmacy team members.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and be a licensed pharmacist in good standing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to achieve high standards.

Desired Experience:

  • Management, pharmacy, and retail experience preferred.
