Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients, ensuring an inviting atmosphere for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide individualized outpatient therapy for clients and families, promoting healing and resilience tailored to their unique circumstances.
- Develop crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness strategies to assist in maintaining stable functioning and empowering clients on their mental health journeys.
- Participate in case consultations and discharge planning, leveraging your expertise to enhance overall client care.
- Complete documentation, treatment plans, and billing in a timely manner, upholding the highest professional standards.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and dietitians, to ensure a holistic approach to mental health care.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience working with children and families.
- Provisionally licensed if required by state regulations.
- Background supporting professional licensing requirements.
- Passionate about mental health and providing high-quality care.
- Committed to ongoing professional development supported by free supervision and continuing education.
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on enhancing client care.
- Strong ethical practices and confidentiality commitment.
- Exceptional communication skills to build rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management to ensure documentation and administrative tasks are completed on time.
