As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be a key member of our global team, contributing your skills in a collaborative and innovative setting. Your role will involve managing and maintaining the WK Global Network, along with configuring and troubleshooting network equipment across various remote locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a network uptime of 99.99%.
  • Configure and deploy new switches and SDWAN sites throughout the Global Network.
  • Analyze system logs for issues, proactively addressing potential problems while applying your robust knowledge of routing concepts, including fiber switches, connectors, and other essential hardware.
  • Maintain and update comprehensive network documentation, including knowledge bases for known issues.
  • Provide recommendations to senior management for network improvements and enhancements.
  • Support and mentor team members during knowledge transitions across all network systems.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and processes within the team.
  • Work with various network products, including Aruba WIFI, Zscaler, Palo Alto NGFW, Cisco Meraki, Cloudflare, and AWS Cloud Networking.
  • Design and implement cloud components utilizing Infrastructure as Code, complying with SDLC principles.
  • Complete project and operational infrastructure tasks within a Scrum framework, following sprint cycles.
  • Adopt an automation-first mindset to streamline existing tasks and processes.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent practical experience).
  • At least 5 years of experience in network engineering.
  • Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent qualifications.
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking Certification or equivalent.
