Your Role as a Rehabilitation Therapy Specialist

  • Assist in therapists' daily patient care and therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate open communication with patients, their families, and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and delivery of quality care.
  • Prepare and safely transport patients according to schedules.
  • Share observations and outcomes of patient care with therapists.

Qualifications for Success

  • Preferred CPR certification unless stated otherwise by hospital policy.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Completion of training required for clinical ladder Rehab Tech I or equivalent.
