About the Role

As a Salesforce Solutions Architect at Datavant, you will have a significant impact within our expanding Salesforce Center of Excellence. You will serve as the technical authority on all aspects of the Salesforce platform, guiding our development teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and high-performing. This is a unique opportunity to shape robust platform standards and establish a sturdy technical foundation for the future.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough technical design reviews, determining the best approaches and ensuring quality assurance across all initiatives.
• Define enterprise-level technical architecture, standards, and best practices across multiple production instances.
• Manage technical debt proactively, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, data issues, and security vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement reusable integration patterns between Salesforce, Mulesoft, and various enterprise systems.
• Establish and enforce coding standards, reusable components, and technical documentation processes.
• Develop a streamlined DevOps process, including a CI/CD pipeline for multi-instance production.
• Mentor and coach team members to elevate the technical prowess of the Center of Excellence.
• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features and recommend strategies for platform innovation.
• Engage in hands-on development as needed.

Qualifications for Success

• 4+ years of experience as a Salesforce Architect handling enterprise-level architecture.
• 6+ years of design and implementation experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer across core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience) in a complex, multi-cloud, multi-instance organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, event-driven integrations, and Flow.
• Expertise in Service Cloud and call center operations.
• Experience with Data 360 (Data Cloud) implementations.
• Familiarity with Revenue Management (Revenue Cloud) or legacy CPQ solutions.
• Experience with Mulesoft, Heroku, or Kafka middleware tools.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects effectively.
• Salesforce Application and System Architect Certifications are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in regulated industries, preferably healthcare.
• Additional Salesforce certifications.
• Salesforce consulting experience at a principal level or higher.
