About Our Client

My client is a U.S.-based manufacturer specialising in cold-formed and machined metal components, serving aerospace, automotive, defense, and industrial markets with a strong emphasis on quality, efficiency, and customer collaboration.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer are:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for CNC machining and related operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to production teams, troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
  • Support new product introduction by developing manufacturing plans and process documentation.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Train and mentor operators and technicians on best practices and process improvements.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivelent CNC experience
  • 3+ years of experience in CNC manufacturing, preferably in a regulated industry (aerospace, medical devices, automotive, or defense).
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).
  • Hands-on experience with CNC programming, tooling, and process optimization.
  • Experience with Quoting
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
