Job Summary and Responsibilities
- Performs CT exams
- Prepares equipment
- Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure
- Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
- Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested
- Inform patient of diagnostic procedure being performed
- Education: High School Dioloma/GED required
- Experience: No prior experience required
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R) upon hire or transfer
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (CT) within 9 months of hire or transfer
- Certified by the state of Texas - MRAD upon hire or transfer
- BLS-CPR, 14 day grace period
