We are seeking a Director of Leadership Development to design and advance Na'aleh's approach to leadership learning across the Greater Baltimore Jewish community.
The ideal candidate is a leadership development professional skilled in both training and facilitation-collaborative, relational, and accountable to mission, colleagues, and community.
What You Will Do
As Director of Leadership Development, you will play a key role in shaping Na'aleh's leadership learning strategy by:
- Developing, facilitating and refining learning experiences for lay and professional leaders.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create new leadership offerings that respond to emerging community needs.
- Developing tools and resources that extend learning beyond formal sessions.
- Overseeing implementation and evaluation of leadership initiatives to ensure quality and impact.
- Providing coaching, mentorship, and consultation to strengthen leadership practice.
- Building relationships that expand and connect the network of community leaders.
- Representing Na'aleh with professionalism, warmth, and integrity.
You bring:
- 7+ years' experience in leadership development, adult education, community building, or related fields.
- Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in education, organizational leadership, nonprofit management, social work, or Jewish communal service.
- Skilled trainer, facilitator, and mentor, with a track record of designing high-quality learning experiences.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit governance and the lay-professional partnership.
- Excellent communicator and relationship-builder across a diverse community.
- Proficient with data and technology for measuring and improving programs.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating complexity.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000-$100,000 (commensurate with experience)
