Are you a tax accountant with a solid public accounting background but looking for something less stressful?
A local CPA firm in St. Louis is hiring a Tax Accountant to work directly with the firm's top clients. You'll handle meaningful tax work without the traditional busy-season grind.

What you'll do

  • Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.

  • Work directly with clients on tax questions and planning throughout the year.

  • Research tax issues and help develop practical, real-world solutions.

  • Review financial information for accuracy and completeness.

  • Communicate with clients about deadlines, documents, and follow-up needs.

  • Support senior staff and help refine internal processes.
What you'll bring

  • At least 2 years of public accounting tax experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • CPA preferred or clear plans to pursue it.

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage work independently and stay organized.
