Day shift, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing blood draws and other necessary functions while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Perform blood collections through venipuncture and capillary techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation using Athena EMR.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare staff across service areas.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience required.
  • Experience with Athena EMR is preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to cover all service areas.
  • NC licensure preferred; willing to accept temporary or pending licenses.
  • Two supervisory references are required.
