Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our internal developer portal using Backstage.io. This role is crucial in enhancing developer productivity and standardizing practices across our organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
  • 8-10 years of experience in relevant fields
  • Strong experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React (Backstage core stack)
  • Experience in Amazon Web Service (AWS) Cloud Computing
  • Experience with DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Dynatrace
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in platform architecture management
  • Skills in customization and integration
  • Ability to enhance developer experience (DevEx) through automation
  • Strong collaboration and governance skills
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design and implement the internal developer portal using Backstage.io
  • Lead architectural planning and provide technical leadership
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Automate processes to improve developer experience and productivity
  • Maintain and enhance platform architecture for optimal performance
