RN Supervisor - Psychiatry Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

This position requires working on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, guaranteeing 36 hours weekly.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced RN Supervisor specializing in Psychiatry. The ideal candidate will oversee the operations and administration of the unit, ensuring optimal patient care for our adult psychiatric population.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Act as a point of communication between staff, patients, and families.
• Participate in staff evaluations and performance management.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with adult psychiatric populations is required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be willing to float as necessary.
