Job Summary

The Client is seeking a hands-on Assembler to join the Operations & Maintenance team. This role focuses primarily on industrial fabrication, utilizing various hand and power tools to construct custom stands, carts, and framed units. The position also involves basic preventive maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabrication & Assembly: Assemble "erector set" style, tube/metal framed stands, and wooden carts using basic hand tools.
  • Tool Operation: Safely operate power tools and wood/fabrication shop equipment, including band, table, and chop saws.
  • Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Team Support: Assist the team with various industrial fabrication tasks and demonstrate flexibility in daily activities.
Minimum Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to read and understand prints and drawings.
  • Tool Proficiency: Proven ability to safely utilize a wide variety of hand and power tools, including band, table, and chop saws.
  • Safety: Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization (U.S. Citizenship required for this site).
  • Physical: Ability to walk extensively and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, and hard hats.
