Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to serve as the Feature Funnel Owner for System Performance & Communications.

This strategic role involves leading the end-to-end development of features related to system performance optimization, connectivity, and thermal management.

The position also includes managing a dedicated QA team to ensure all features meet the highest quality standards before release.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own feature funnel for system performance, connectivity, and thermal management.
  • Lead QA team for assigned modules, ensuring thorough validation and compliance with quality standards.
  • Define and enforce quality standards across performance and connectivity features.
  • Create and manage feature development timelines aligned with platform schedules.
  • Coordinate across hardware, software, firmware, QA, and external vendors.
  • Manage dependencies and facilitate cross-team alignment for feature delivery.
  • Track progress, identify blockers, and implement recovery plans.
  • Oversee development and validation phases to ensure feature readiness.
  • Host review meetings and act as primary liaison for module-specific features.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of requirements, design decisions, and test outcomes.
  • Prepare status reports and risk assessments for leadership and program forums.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in product development, system architecture, or technical program management.
  • Strong understanding of PC system architecture (CPU, memory, thermal systems, networking).
  • Familiarity with BIOS/firmware interactions and performance optimization techniques.
  • Experience with wireless connectivity standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and thermal management technologies.
  • Knowledge of benchmarking tools and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to manage QA teams and interpret validation results.
  • Skilled in milestone planning, resource coordination, and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PC performance tuning and hardware/software integration.
  • Familiarity with external hardware/component vendor coordination.
  • Strong problem-solving ability in performance optimization and connectivity troubleshooting.
