Job Description

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Mechanical Design-Build engineering. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who provides leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to high-quality project delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 8-10+ years of mechanical engineering design or design-build experience (HVAC and piping systems focus, plumbing knowledge a plus)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, LEED accreditation a plus
  • Proficient in HVAC design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace, Carrier HAP) and building management systems (BMS)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to mentor junior engineers
  • Proven ability to lead projects and teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design and implementation projects, ensuring budget, timeline, and quality goals
  • Perform load calculations, airflow analysis, and technical assessments for system sizing and design
  • Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED, NFPA)
  • Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, equipment selections, submittals, and cost estimates
  • Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems
  • Collaborate with clients, owners, and internal teams; provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
