JOB SUMMARY:
As a Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, managing their files and providing essential support to both patients and our medical staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will:

  • Warmly greet patients upon arrival in the waiting area, exam room, or x-ray room.
  • Communicate wait times clearly and guide patients through their treatment journey.
  • Address patient concerns and escalate urgent situations as needed.
  • Timely follow up on lab and x-ray results, ensuring effective communication.
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out as needed.
  • Accurately document vital signs, medical history, and pertinent information.
  • Support patient transfers and assist with provider-supervised procedures.
  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Ensure equipment functionality, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to patient visits.
  • Keep examination rooms organized and stocked as required.
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols, as well as patient confidentiality standards.
  • Perform phlebotomy, injections, and other lab procedures within your training level under a provider's direction.

WHAT'S REQUIRED?
To be eligible, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • A Medical Assistant Certificate or equivalent qualifications.
  • A valid State License for performing X-Rays.
  • Current BLS Certification.
