JOB SUMMARY:

Join our mission to deliver an exceptional and innovative dining experience that transforms guests into loyal fans. As the Restaurant Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily management of the restaurant while mentoring and developing our valued Team Members. Your role includes maximizing sales and profitability, managing expenses, addressing Guest complaints, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and food quality. You will embody and promote our core values and expected leader behaviors.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Understanding of basic restaurant service and a strong service-oriented attitude
  • Able to stand for long periods (up to 10 hours)
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Good hearing abilities for safety and communication (with or without accommodation)
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Regular attendance is a requirement
  • Ability to work up to 55 hours per week
  • Ability to handle temperature variations and frequent hand immersion in water and cleaning solutions
  • Vision capabilities including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception and focus adjustment
  • Valid food safety or state-required food/alcohol certification
  • Compliance with dress code, including black slip-resistant shoes

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Attend all scheduled shifts
  • Ensure every guest experiences exceptional service by modeling our core mission
  • Effectively onboard and train all Team Members with our service standards
  • Recruit, train, and regularly communicate with Managers and Team Members
  • Adhere to company policies and state and federal regulations
  • Accountable for restaurant performance based on specific areas of responsibility
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and set SMART Goals with Team Members
  • Support Team Member development and skill reinforcement
  • Implement strategies to retain top talent
  • Manage Team Member schedules efficiently
  • Control inventory and receiving processes; report concerns to General Manager
  • Set daily goals and tasks, ensuring effective completion through follow-up
  • Monitor sales performance to optimize scheduling and staffing
  • Accountable for food costs, inventory levels, utility usage, and Health Department ratings
  • Ensure adherence to food and beverage recipes
  • Conduct initial interviews for new hires and recommend candidates
  • Control cash management and bank deposits
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Restaurant Operations Manager, you will supervise and develop your Team Members, ensuring a respectful and dignified workplace. You will report directly to the General Manager, Director of Operations, and Executive VP of Operations.
